Oct 30th, 2025 - We organized the Kentgens symposium and Dutch 60th NMRDG meetings in Nijmegen. It is a great success with a lot of science, friendship and fun!

Sept 23rd, 2025 - Giu's paper is out in ACS Electrochemistry, featured on the journal cover! We have detected and quantified viologen radical and revealed the intramolecular electron spin density distribution via coupled benchtop NMR and EPR technique.

Aug 19th-20th, 2025 - Zhiyu presented her work on operando NMR studies of electrochemical conversion to the COAST MS+ students during the NMR summer school in Nijmegen. Evan gave a lecture on NMR experimental techniques.
July 18th, 2025 - Zhiyu's paper “Operando benchtop NMR quantifies carbonation, water crossover, and liquid products for high-current electrochemical CO2 reduction” has been published in ACS Catalysis, 2025, 15, 12300-12307. Congratulations to Zhiyu and all co-authors on this beautiful work, and the cover art.

May 29th, 2025 - Evan visited University of Glasgow and gave a talk on Operando Magnetic Resonance for Understanding Redox Flow Batteries and Ammonia Synthesis for the Energy and Sustainability Group Away Day. Thanks to Dr. Yihuai Zhang for the kind invitation!
May 12th, 2025 - The NMReChem team attended the 2nd National Electrochemical Symposium in Utrecht. Zhiyu and Evan talked about operando magnetic resonance studies of CO2 reduction and redox flow batteries. Ruipeng and Giu presented posters on Li-mediated ammonia synthesis and viologen-based redox flow batteries.
Apr. 25th, 2025 - Noel and Evan attended the Workshop on Aqueous Organic Redox Flow Batteries in Paris. Evan gave a talk on Coupling benchtop NMR and EPR for characterizing redox flow batteries. Noel presented a poster on (De)coupling benchtop NMR and EPR to study Cu/Fe redox flow batteries. Noel won the Poster Prize!!!
